Unmerciful is here to kick your as into next week with their new single “Malice Unbound”. We didn’t agree to premiere this – we were just too afraid of what would happen if we said no.
Unmerciful will release new album Devouring Darkness on May 23. Devouring Darkness sees the return of longtime member Jeremy Turner to guitar and introduces Josh Riley as the band’s new vocalist.
The album was engineered and produced by Clinton Appelhanz at Waveworks Studio, with mastering handled by the legendary Alan Douches (Cannibal Corpse, Hate Eternal, etc.). Artwork by Santiago Francisco Jaramillo.
Pre-orders are available here (and here on Bandcamp). Unmerciful has also announced the first of many live assaults in support of Devouring Darkness. The band will host an album release show on June 20 at Warehouse on Broadway in Kansas City, MO, alongside Torn The Fuck Apart, Garoted, and Hossferatu. Details and tickets are available here.
