“The newest Metallica Black Box exhibit celebrates the visual medium that has become inextricably linked to the music industry: posters,” begins an update from Metallica. “From gig souvenirs to promotional fliers to limited edition variants, each is a work of art in its own right. Over the course of four releases, we’ll journey through past interpretations of Metallica, with the final exhibit serving as the definitive collection of our posters, all under one proverbial roof.
“Enter the Black Box and explore works from some of our favorite artists, beginning with recent releases from 2023 and 2024 alongside a handful of vintage pieces. Papercuts not included.”
