We may not have even hit Halloween yet, but bands are already getting into the holiday spirit by announcing their special Yuletide concerts, which is always a good time. Earlier this year, The Acacia Strain revealed their “Tune Low, Die Slow” holiday shows and the lineup was already pretty stacked. Then they went and made it beefier with the inclusion of Year Of The Knife.
After rising from the van accident that left vocalist Madi Watkins severely injured and hospitalized, Year Of The Knife has done pretty alright, playing shows and dropping an album in the span of the last year. According to organizers, the Delaware-based metalcore band will play the holiday shows’ second date on December 7 at Empire Live in Albany, New York.
As mentioned before, both nights have killer lineups planned. Here’s the updated roster of bands slated to hit the stage on both dates:
DECEMBER 6 LINEUP:
The Acacia Strain

Gridiron

DECEMBER 7 LINEUP:

Aside from this newly announced appearance, Year Of The Knife have just two other shows planned for the rest of 2024. The first will take place on October 19 in Atlanta, Georgia’s Culture Shock, while the other will be at the For the Children Fest out in Los Angeles, which is taking place on December 14 and 15.
As for the ‘Tune Low, Die Slow’ shows, the two-day event will set prospective attendees back about $70 for two days if you buy tickets ahead of time. Single day tickets will be $40 if bought before the show and $50 at the door.
